Hi and welcome to the new rideshare Forum Allan!
Sydney drivers are able to earn more than Melbourne drivers simply because the rates are higher per Km.
If you live in a high demand area you may be able to take advantage of occasional surge pricing.
It also depends on what time of the day you work. After 10pm on the weekends is usualy quite busy, but then you may have to deal with taking drunks home. So choose your hours wisely.
As more Sydney members join the forum, I am sure they will be able to help out with earnings potential and any other tips.
Thanks
