Uber Driver-Partner App down this morning Friday 9th February

There were a lot of Uber drivers unable to log in to the App this morning from about 5.30am.

Uber has acknowledged this Outage and provided drivers with an update:
OUTAGE UPDATE:

The app experienced a technical issue on Friday, February 9, and because of that, you may have had some difficulty logging in or accessing the Uber Driver App.

We know this might have caused you some frustration. Our team is continually working to ensure the app's performance can keep up with your expectations.

Thank you for your patience.
I lost out on a fair portion of income from this outage. I wonder how many other drivers were in the same boat?

The Uber App was very glitchy last night too.
Mine kept getting stuck on the starting trip screen. It kept looping.
After a few minutes, I just restarted my Galaxy S7.
Logged back into the Uber driver App and it started working again.
The passenger said I'll give you directions.......
LOL
No way I am driving any stranger without getting paid.
